Praia do Sono

Departure from Paraty in south direction to the Vila de Laranjeiras where the track that takes to the beach begins, going by the Environmental Protecion Area (APA) of Cairucu. In the course, different types of Fauna, Flora and Waterfalls can be observed, and arriving in the end of the track, at almost untouched Praia do Sono, with its Vila Caicara that maintains its traditions and cultures even today. Its crystalline waters are and irresistible invation to the dive. The return will be for the same track. Walk duration: around 5 at 6 hours. Track duration: 1 hour. Difficulty degree:Medium. The unique point of Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar that preserves, until the current days, a great biodiversity. A good place to observer the mangroves (cradle of marine life). Visit to Casa da Farinha Comunitaria (old sugar and alcohol factory buit in the end of last century by Italian Immigrants) in the middle of the Forest.
