The three major Brazilian Airlines offer an Airpass to visit the whole
country. Should you be interested visiting several cities in Brazil, consider
the long distances.
Important: The Airpass, no matter with
which airline you are flying in, has to be purchased in your home country.
Should you fly with another company than the three Brazilians, inform
yourself with which one your carrier maintains agreement.
Varig Air Pass
For travel to any destination in Brazil served by Varig, Rio Sul or Nordeste
Airlines. Up to 5 Flight Coupons. Valid for a maximum of 21 days from
date of first domestic flight. Passengers flying to Brazil on Varig Brazilian
Airlines, United, America, Continental or Delta Airlines.

TAM Brazil Air Pass
For travel to any destination in Brazil served by TAM Airlines. Up
to 5 Flight Coupons. Valid for a maximum of 21 days from date of first
domestic flight. Passengers traveling to Brazil on any airline.

AIRPORT
TAXES
For international flights the airport tax is US$ 36,00 or the
equivalent in Reals. National flights leaving from Rio, São Paulo
or Belo Horizonte have a departure tax of R$ 7.50, other airports
charge R$ 6.00. If you take an internal connecting flight followed
by an international flight you will be liable for both departure
taxes. If, however, the connecting flight is international, you
pay only the one tax of US$ 36.00. These charges can either be
collected from each passenger or added to the bill. It is important
to take these taxes into account.
CHECK
IN / ARRIVAL
For group travel it is advisable to check-in at least 2 hours
before your flight, even for internal flights. A "pre-check-in"
can be arranged by us, both gaining time and adding to the smooth-running
of your programme. Be aware that some flights do not have allocated
seats
RECONFIRMATION
According to IATA regulations you do not need to reconfirm your
flight if the continuation of your trip is within 72 hours of
arrival. It is, however, advisable to reconfirm nonetheless.
For individual travellers this can be done by calling the appropriate
airline reservation service. For group travel, we take care
of this. Each flight must be reconfirmed after completing the
previous flight. Reconfirmation of the whole trip upon arrival
in Brazil is not possible.
Important: Should take another
flight than the one previously reserved, you must by all means
immediately reconfirm your following flights. Otherwise the
computer will take your absence on the scheduled flight as a
No-Show and automatically cancel the rest.
